Terms of Tutoring Program
1. Client agrees to a specific Service Level at the beginning of tutoring. This level is based on a monthly agreement and is based on the number of tutoring hours the client agrees to per month. This arrangement may be amended or canceled at the end of each month by giving notice by the end of the month. If notice is not given, the client begins a new month for which fees are due at the beginning of the new month.
2. A parent or guardian MUST be at the residence at the time of tutoring.
3. To avoid cancellation charges, please notify the office 24 hours in advance of the tutoring session so that we may notify the teacher you will not be available.
4. The first month of service shall be paid prior to the start of service.
5. Subsequent payments are due at the end of the month for services to be delivered during the next month.
6. Tutors are representatives of Knowledge Guides. Clients may not transact business with the tutor outside of this AGREEMENT. If this occurs, client is obligated to pay Knowledge Guides for each session at the ordinary rate.
7. Fees subject to change. $25 returned check fee.
Client understands and agrees to the above terms. Client understands that Knowledge Guides has made a commitment to provide their services in accordance with the above terms. Client understands that they are responsible for what occurs in their home and release and hold harmless Knowledge Guides and its owner, and its representatives from all claims, demands, damages, or costs which result from the provision of this service.
Tutoring Guarantee: Knowledge Guides stands behind our tutoring program. If you are unsatisfied with the tutor we have matched you with, you may request a different tutor and will will provide a new one. This addresses the fact that sometimes a excellent tutor, still might not be the right fit for your child. If a tutor is ever poorly prepared for a session and does an unsatisfactory job of explaining the material, you may request a different tutor, and you won't be charged for the session.
SAT/ACT/PSAT PREP GUARANTEE: IF YOUR CHILD DOES NOT RAISE HIS OR HER TEST SCORE, YOU MAY PARTICIPATE IN OUR REFRESHER PROGRAM. This program takes place on Saturdays from 1-3 pm. Other times available. Contact us for details. You may participate in up to 10 consecutive classes. $89 administrative fee required in advance.
